Struggle for the city exhibition

Client: Wienmuseum
Location: Vienna / Austria
Year: 2009
Supervision: Horst Campman

The exhibition „Struggle for the city“ („Kampf um die Stadt“) covers Austria’s historical and cultural background of the 1920's and 1930's. The major themes of this interdisciplinary show are not only the civil war, dictatorship and the rise of fascism but also Vienna's development as a modern city. 2000 square meters of exhibition space and over 2000 objects make it one of the largest historical exhibitions of the past years. In addition to the technical setup of the 45 audio visual installations, the hard- and software for a synchronized multiprojection scenography in the entrance area was also implemented.
