Wintermärchen. Winter-Darstellungen in der europäischen Kunst von Bruegel bis Beuys

Vienna 2011

Client: Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna

The myths of various nations have one common ground: winter came to earth as a punishment and a plague. The exhibition, conceived by guest curator Ronald de Leeuw, seeks to explore and document in greater detail the theme of winter in human history. Loans from several of the world’s leading museums were organized for the show: Musee de Louvre, Rijksmuseum, Musée d’Orsay, Tate Gallery and others. When several international lenders are involved in an exhibition project, many challenges arise for the organizer in handling and documenting the loan process. We take over the loan coordination for our client and ensure that the exhibition objects reach the venue safely and on time.
