In the autumn of 2004, the first art storage in Austria was opened. In addition to a state-of-the-art storage facility for works of art, ARTEX Museum Services created a competence center for all aspects of exhibition operations. Over 3.500 m2 of storage facilities of the highest technical level, are on offer for artworks. Almost twenty years later, the building still has the highest safety standards for the optimal storing of works of art: Thanks to a special oxygen reduction process, the art storage halls are considered fireproof. Our company’s founder, Horst Campman,was at that time the CEO of ARTEX Museum Services and today we are still proud of the successful realization of this innovative and future-oriented project.
