Stone Chronicle Museum

Baku 2015

Client: Heydar Aliyev Foundation

Stone Chronicle Museum is a museum in Baku, dedicated to the history of stone sculpture in Azerbaijan. The museum was opened in 2015. It is located in the building of the electric power station built in 1921, which was used to supply energy to oil wells in Baku’s surroundings before it was converted into a museum. The museum’s permanent exhibition presents many types of stone sculpture, from exhibits on the history of stone art in Azerbaijan to works by current sculptor Huseyn Hagverdiyev. We provide our clients who plan to open a new museum or want to adapt an existing one, support at both strategic and operational levels, right up to the actual realization of the project.
